1, “Waiting for Eden,’ grief with not guarantee of closure.” By Elliot Ackerman who is a veteran, writes about an injured soldier regaining consciousness. The author then says it’s really about something else. Its about something else.
2. Are stories from veterans serving in more current wars. The books are called “The Long Walk,” The Yellow Birds” and “Fobbit.” They are fiction books describing their experiences during the war. The description doesn’t mention what war.
3. WWII “Deserters’: Stories of men who left the front lines. By Charles Gass. Includes unknown history of American and British soldiers. He shares how the line between courage and cowardice aren’t simple.
