Seek professional advice before an exam. Talk to a VSO (veteran service officer). If your currently in the military here’s information I found to help you if injured. Nothing to do with an exam but, wanted to help those who are currently serving.

  1. Document the details of the injury and treatment by going to a military medical facility or TMC and asking for copies of the documentation.
  2. Notify your local commander and request a Line of Duty injury report (for Army, it’s a DA FORM 2173).
  3. Provide evidence to the VA, including lay statements from witnesses (buddies, family members).
  4. Eligible service members, veterans, and their families can receive benefits for injuries and illnesses.
