This was on Veteran Evaluation Service (VES):
The Provider selected for your evaluation is trained, certified and medically qualified to complete compensation and pension disability evaluations for Veterans and active-duty service members. Examinations are meant to evaluate your condition and are not for treatment purposes.
The examiner who works for VES sends their report to have them verify the accuracy of the exam. So the examiner may not be in their property. Here are some of the complaints of VES:
Not given clear answers why they are taking so long to send their report to the VA.
When asked to talk to management no one would talk to them.
Won’t return response when emailed.
They were asked their complete social security number over the phone.
Was told they have 30 days to get their report over to the VA.
Scheduling exam dates without talking to the veteran first.
Tried to get rescheduled with a different doctor. The person says it took 70 days.
Only a couple positive review on how they were treated. That I saw.
Examiner was demeaning. Judgmental. Arrogant.
Lack of accountability from the VA on the contractors.
One person felt they give false information.
VA told them they were told they were a no show for the evaluation. This person showed the VA documentation that the exam was a review only and didn’t need to attend the appointment.
Claim started May 2023 and in November 2023 still the VA still didn’t have the report. Didn’t feel the doctor was trained in the area trying to qualify for disability.
Had nothing negative about the examiner but exam was May 2023 and as of September 2023 the VA didn’t have the report.
These were all similar in the 12 pages I printed out on the complaints.
I own this website and one of my exams the doctor said I was late and there was static. We talked 5o minutes without her mentioning any static. I was waiting for 30 minutes at least for her. So that was a lie that I was late.
The VA doesn’t put the name of the examiner on the information they give on their decision. Write the examiners name down when they first say who they are in case you need it for a complaint. Wish I thought of doing that.
