Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can get mental health services online, or by phone if transportation is an issue. Militaryonesource.com, partners with another VA service called “Be There” peer assistance program. Peer support services are available 24 hours all year long. You may need to call the local VA in your area to find out any qualifying requirements. Call the number above and they will be able to tell you if you have to do anything before getting support through them.
Here are the different types of counseling you can get: Individual, group, couples, families, PTSD, MST, readjustment counseling, such as mental health services, educational and employment, bereavement, substance use and VA benefits. You can get mental health without being enrolled in VA health care. Health benefits hotline is 877-222-8387, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Homeless veterans’ number 877-424-3838. Twenty-four hours all year long.
